I’m Sarah from The Kissing Booth Blog and I’m taking over So Chic Life for a little Fashion Friday action and to talk about what to wear on Easter. Before we get into some of my favorite spring styles and fashions, I wanted to congratulate Alison on the blog re-design! It look’s absolutely amazing and I’m so excited to continue to work with So Chic Life watching it grow!
‘Florals? For Spring? Groundbreaking’ – Meryl Streep in The Devil Wears Prada. No offense, but florals always make spring feel much brighter and better. This year I’ve been loving floral pattern heels, floral jackets and floral dresses. With Piperlime about to close I’ve been debating whether to grab these floral heels, but I’m also love these and these.
With the old fashion rule of ‘no wearing white after Labor Day’ out the window I’ve fully adopted wearing white as much and as often as I can. For Easter this year I plan to wear some version of this outfit with the light pink coat as some added color with my white jeans and top. Until it get’s warm enough to put coats away, this easy spring look will most likely become my go-to weekend uniform. The clean slate of a white outfit makes it easy to add some color and can match with anything if you want to take some nice family pictures on Sunday.
This has become a big trend of the past few months and was in a ton of resort wear this past winter! I’ve seen this trend everywhere from Neiman Marcus to Loft and everywhere between. Keeping within spring colors, you’ll be sure to impress your family on Easter with this spring trend.
